During my time working at Berkeley Art Museum, I was luck enough to be present during the installation of the Barry Mcgee exhibit. The install lasted for weeks and took over the majority of the gallery. I remember the day they hauled in a full sized van and set up the animatronics. It was so exciting coming in every day seeing new work done and trying to catch a glimpse of 'ol Mr. Mcgee in action. 
I came in to work and one day and this was tagged outside of the building.
The opening was pretty sweet too.
